FAQ: What to donate?
Answer: The Greater Franklin Food Pantry accepts dry, canned, frozen, and refrigerated food and personal care and household cleaning item donations. All donations must be UNEXPIRED and unopened/unused.
Food items we can always use include:
- Peanut butter
- Jams & jellies
- 100% juice
- Canned soups
- Canned fruits
- Canned vegetables
- Canned stew & chili
- Canned fish & chicken
- Canned beans
- White & brown rice
- Pasta & pasta sauce
- Macaroni & cheese
- Pancake & waffle mix
- Maple syrup
- Snacks
- Baking ingredients such as flour, sugar, oils, mixes, etc.
Personal care items we can always use include:
- Toilet paper
- Body and hand soaps
- Feminine hygiene products
- Toothpaste & toothbrushes
- Razors
- Deodorant
Household cleaning items we can always use include:
- Paper towels
- Dish soap
- All-purpose cleaners
- Laundry detergent
Volunteers accept donations during open hours, Fridays, 2pm-4pm, and second Saturday of each month, 10am-12pm, or by appointment. If you have a large donation, please contact us ahead of time to ensure we have enough volunteers available.
